It's more like a classic expansion of the old days. Big area, lot's of content, a new twist on things and quite different in places. It mixes things up nicely. And so far even the story seems better. There are some things that I prefer from 1 but 2 also has many upgrades like the parkhour. 2 is not a bad game by any means, but it does have some trade offs. DL2 is really fun.
