Brian, the friendly Englishman often seen on the Nature Center's trails was 81 when he lost his battle with prostate cancer. Brian was born in Liverpool, England on November 23, 1931. The building is staffed during the day, has restrooms, a water fountain, and tons of cool information on the area & Alaskan wildlife. You can also purchase souvenirs & snacks.
