Webb8 juni 2024 · Thermostat AC or DC powered? I have a 2024 FR Vibe 268RKS. After battery died and waiting for warranty replacement, hooked up to shore power for cleaning/dewinterizing and AC won't cool (Dometic 13,500BTU.) It blows warm air. The thermostat lights up and allows setting of 55°, but won't get cold. As to the OP, a typical thermostat that has batteries can work as a switch from any low voltage AC or DC, but as far as I know they wont run on DC. Im not sure about what thermostat you do have though. If it has batteries then it will work, if not, crap shoot. Webb5 Attach Thermostat to Sub-Base 1.
